I'm in a total funk...... can't get paper out of the drawer..... been off work today and had so many good intentions but nothing happened again! It's literally been months since I stuck paper and glue!

I'm behing on cards, no photos even printed since springtime..... just can't seem to find the energy.

On the other hand I've been really busy with my crochet....a shrug, a baby's shawl and dress, scarf and hat set, lacey ladies shawl, 3 baby blankets......

Just to make me smily and possibly give me the shove I so desperately need here is my fav photo of Ross from ths summer.

Not quite Scrapping yet.....but getting closer!

Today I cleaned the desk to the point where i could see it and my cutting board again..... a BIG job!

Then I made these:

In real life the red bands and the sentiments are mounted on Pop dots... but somehow look totally flat in the photo!

I was desporately running low on cards, so have decided to make a stock of fun and easy ones. On one hand they fill up my box again and on the other gently get me back into the "paper cutting" fun!

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Busy...Not Scrapping!

Well I've not scrapped for ages... but I have been keeping busy. Since january I have taken up knitting and Crochet.

I could always Knit, just not fast, and not fancy!.... for that matter I still can't! I've started a knitted/crochet blanket patchwork using wools supplied in a kit form, and supposed to progressively teach skills.... so far 8 squares done.

When I realised some of the squares would be crocheted I was terrified as I've never been able to do it! Mum tried to teach me years ago, but I was hopeless....so bring on Youtube. Brilliant!

So since then, Granny Squares, Baby Blanket and today my very first hat.

Basically I've decided I much prefer crochet to knitting, possibly because it's so much quicker.

Another for the New Year....

Another Digi tonight..... I love the Websters Pages Digital photo frames, and can't help playing with them! Turned this one into a paper rather than just a frame. More photos of Ross & Duffy the Bear.

Perhaps I will manage some "real" layouts now that I seem to have the "bug" back. Ross and I will be taking the Christmas tree down on Monday, so I plan on taking some closeups of the decorations. I've not been in the spirit this Christmas, but I don't want to let it slip away completely un doccumented.

Catch you in the New Year.... of course for me that is only 1 hour and 10 mins away!

Something for Christmas !

Not "real" scrapping, just a little Digi.... but it's taken me ages....LOL.... I'll get used to Windows 7 someday, but for now even the simplest things are a challenge.

2011 is almost at a closs and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of my "scrappy" friends a very good 2012 when it arrives.... who knows we may even get around to scrapping!

My not so "little" boy with Mickey and Duffy at Disneyland Paris earlier this month.

Used a Websters pages free digi sheet and some other older digi christmas images of various origines.

Yeh I scrapped.....

Ross was sick during the night so I had an unexpected day off work.... so I scrapped! YEH!!!

When I printed out the photos I did not like the ones I posted before.... so I used more from the 50 or so that we took at the Mirazozo exhibit during the Edinburgh Festival this summer. If anyone ever gets the chance to go to this do it... it's wonderful. So much colour, beautiful restful music and such an amazing experience.

Pure Colour.

Wow what happened???

July was my last post... really? Where did 2011 go?

It's November and all I've posted all year is a single LO....well that could of course be becaues that's pretty much all I've done.

I said 42 would be better than 41.... boy was I tempting fate.

I'm determined to scrap some of this years photos very soon as I actually have some lovely ones I really like. Hopefully inspiration will strike soon and all that paper and other "pretty" stuff will stop languishing in boxes.

A couple of photos to share..... let's hope they are attatched to some paper soon.
