Oh I hurt all over

Yester day I had another Oops.......

I fell inside the bus! The floor was wet and when the bus stopped I slipped and fell on my back. That was Ouch enought but things got worse when I was in the office....... to the point where I ended up being stretchered out in front of all of my team!

This morning I've woken up feeling a lot more sore than yesterday. My arm, hip and "rear end" are brused, but the worst is my neck. I feel like it's frozen and moving in certain ways sends shooting pain up the back of my head.

My 41st year has not been my best! Bring on my 42nd, let's hope it's a bit more accident free!

1st New Year post and 1st Layout in FOREVER!!

Happy New Year.

2010 was a year filled with lots of events, but not much creativity on my part, so to start off my 2011 in the way I mean to go on....... Here is my first Layout of the year.

As every year I do a LO using a Christmas card. This years selection of cards received seemed very apt for the situation we all found ourselfs in...... Deep snow! Seems like the card companies must have had some prior warning of the weather...LOL....

Ice Blue Bazzil which I stamped with silver shadow ink snowflakes. I then added snowflake semi opaque glittered peel offs, Basic Grey letter stickers which I covered with diamond stickles and two hand cut snowflake freezes which I covered in winter white embossing powder (these came from a book I received last year of Kirigami designs).

1ST left handed project.

I got really frustrated and bored over the last two nights, there is only so mch TV and PC you can handle!

So out came the cuttle bug and the paper cutter. I can't do any "fancy" cutting, or really intricate stuff......... but I did manage a christmas card.
Sticles is fun left handed as it does have a tendancy to go everywhere except where you want it!

Ooooohhhh the frustration

Stuck at home, potentially until end of November...........and i cant even scrap, at least not properly!

On Tuesday on my way from home i had an accident and ended up hith my right hand and forearm in plaster.

Best estimate i should only need it for three weeks, if it's only strained. IF it's actually broken this could be three months (please not)! I won't know until a scan next Thursday.

The most frustrating thing is that other than some sore muscles, and cuts and bruises from the fall I actually feel fine. Just cant type properly (typos worse than ever!), and no way i can manipulate my crafting stuff, so i'm already going stir crazy.

Soooooooo lazy!

It's been months!

I've not scrapped, not even made a card for weeks now....... maybe it was just the summer lul..... maybe I've just completely lost "it".... don't know.

I still look at scrapping stuff, even buy the occasional "bit", just can't seem to ever get inspired or be "in the mood".Somehow I feel like I've not actually done anything with all the LOs etc I've completed in the past, never have anyone to show them to who has an interest, never display them or really look at tha albums they are in.... so is there still a point to it?

I guess I miss being part of an active community on line, but to be honest I can't get with the bigger sites as I always feel overwhelemed trying to "keep up" with the chat and the challenges etc, and all the smaller sites seem to have dried up over the last year or so.

Hmmmmm how to get myself motivated again.Well moan over, here are a couple of photos from this summer that will definately be on my "to scrap" list if I ever do get around to it.

Trips and reasons to scrap

Well it's been a busy few weeks again!

First trip was to Scotland..... on ....off.... stupid volcano ...... we did'nt know until the day itself whether we would get away or not, then had to worry whether we would get back!

In the end it went fine and Ross & I spent 10 wonderful days relaxing.

Scrap reason 1!

Second trip was to Park Asterix. This was Ross, Greg and my Birthday Present from Sally & Andre.

They arranged to collect us and took us to stay at the Hotel, then we had a lovely evening and a great day in the Park. Not too far from home but a wonderful way to relax over a weekend.

Some great photo ops of course.... Scrapping reason N° 2!

Third trip was a long weekend in Meynal at the foot of the Jura mountains with Sally & Andre.

What a wonderful weekend we had. So nice to see more of France and with the help of lots of fresh air and beautiful scenery this was just what we all needed to get ready for summer.

Of course we have taken loads of photos and I am so ready to start scrapping again.
