There are always such generous crafty folks on the web.
Here are just some of the many current "candies" from the lovely ladies of the Card making and Scrapbooking communities.
OK so I'm getting better at this link stuff.... finally managed to put the Blog Candy photos and links in my side bar...... I hope!
I'm off to continue exploring Blog land now... and try out some new tricks too!!

Well I'm 40!
Yup, no way to stop it.... it kind of crept up and flattened me. But you know what? I'm actually fine about it! Sure it seems like a grown up number, but I still don't feel like a grown up..... I'm sure my mental age is decreasing somewhere along the lines!
It's been a busy and kind of scary time for me recently. Money sucks..... health is dodgy.......scray stuff going on at work.......basically it feels like the world is ganging up on me at the moment. Despoite it all I am still feeling positive and having a great time, so I guess I'm managing to put everything in the correct perspective. (don't tell anyone but that's probably the age thing!!!).
I did have a bit of a play this week, so another LO to show you.
Ross is getting very "grown up" too. I loved this photo of him I took recently. It works both in colour and B&W, but I had a hankering to do a B&W LO, so here it is.
I'm loving white cardstock at the moment.
I got loads of lovely cards from my online friends, so thank you everyone... you know who you are. I also received some amazing pressies from my family and friends, so thanks again to everyone.

Well I did it again.....
Scrap that is!
First LO since January..... simple and most of all FLAT... yup no bumps, no lumps. The most "dimensional" part of the LO are the letters I used for the title.
I've no idea why it ended up being flat, somehow it just seemed that the photos required a simple, non fussy kind of LO.
It felt good to be scrapping again. Seemed at the time to have taken me ages too.

First LO of 2009....at last I scrapped!
I finally scrapped yesterday (Sunday). It felt great!
I did this LO using the prompt from the We Kit you not blog run by my favourite Miss Kimmy!
Takes me ages to get off my rear and join in this kind of thing but I was really desporate to scrap and I actually had an idea.....beleive me that's pretty amazing at the moment!
So the prompt was to scrap about New Beginnings. Well It's pretty clear tat this year is going to be the beginning of a whole new adventure for me with Ross. He is showng so many signs of being ready to do things all on his own. I can't beleive he will be 7 in just one month, baby to small person in such a short time!
I used various bits from my December buttons & Buddies kit (Sequin waste, buttons, tickets, ribbons and embossing powder), Bazzil cardstock, Coredinates cardstock embossed and sanded, papers Chatterbox & Daisy D's, Scenic Route North Shore sticker and varios other bits from my stash.
TFL.

First post of 2009, last projects of 2008.
Well welcome 2009. I'm hoping that it will be a little more productive than 2008, and also a little less stressful at work etc!! We'll see.
Here are my last two projects of 2008.
We don't get crackers here in France so I made these from a template i found on the web. Great fun as Ross loved helping to find the small presents to fit inside, and very easy to make.

Some fun photos of Ross and Greg at Disney before Christmas.
Making memories FaLaLa paper and loads of "sparkle".... I even used some of the same wired mini tinsel I used on the crackers! Oh and the velvet poinsettia which i edged in gold was from a Christmas cake decoration!
Have a great 2009 everyone.
